Abstract: The production and market situation of phenolic resin and raw material phenol abroad from 2008-2009 were introduced.The novel products were also presented..The research developments of improving curing behavior and mechanical property , controlling microporous  of the products and the comosite application were reviewed.The analyst and recycling technology developments of phenolic resin were summarized.
